Yvonne Brown has been Of Counsel to Gladstein, Reif & Meginniss since 2013 and represents low-wage workers and unions in a wide range of labor and employment matters. She advocates before federal courts, arbitrators, and agencies including the National Labor Relations Board and the Public Employment Relations Board. She counsels unions in healthcare, transit, and other industries on matters such as election law, unfair labor practice proceedings, contract interpretation, and collective bargaining.

Ms. Brown’s career spans three decades of labor law practice on behalf of unions and workers. From 2008 to 2013, she represented workers in entertainment, law enforcement, transportation, and healthcare at Spivak Lipton LLP. Prior to that, she worked in-house at Transport Workers Union Local 100, AFL-CIO, where she provided direct counsel on organizing, bargaining, and grievance matters.

Her association with Gladstein, Reif & Meginniss began in 1996 when she served as an associate for eight years, representing unions in litigation and arbitration across New York. Earlier in her career, Ms. Brown was a Board Attorney at the National Labor Relations Board, Region 2, where she handled unfair labor practice and representation cases, and a Staff Attorney at the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, where she honed her skills in appellate law and judicial process.

Ms. Brown has dedicated her career to defending workers’ rights in the courtroom, at the bargaining table, and in arbitration. Her decades of service to unions across diverse industries reflect a steadfast commitment to strengthening workplace protections and advancing the labor movement.
