Yvonne Brown has been Of Counsel to the firm since 2013. She represents low-wage workers and labor unions in many arenas, including federal court, arbitration, the National Labor Relations Board, and the Public Employment Relations Board. She advises healthcare, transit, and other unions on election issues, unfair labor practices, contract interpretation, and bargaining.
From 2008 to 2013 Ms. Brown was employed at Spivak Lipton LLP, representing workers in the fields of entertainment, law enforcement, transportation, and healthcare. From 2005 to 2008 she worked in-house for the Transport Workers Union, Local 100, AFL-CIO. Ms. Brown was an associate at Gladstein, Reif & Meginniss from 1996 to 2004. She served as a Board Attorney at the National Labor Relations Board, Region 2, from 1994 to 1996, and as a Staff Attorney at the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals from 1993 to 1994.
Ms. Brown is a 1993 graduate of the New York University School of Law and is admitted in New York, the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
