Amelia Tuminaro has been a trusted and strategic advocate for unions and workers for over two decades. Ms. Tuminaro regularly represents public and private sector unions in state and federal court, arbitration hearings, collective bargaining, organizing campaigns, legislative drafting, and amicus advocacy. She also represents individual clients in severance negotiations, wage and hour matters, employment discrimination, and civil rights litigation.

Ms. Tuminaro is a former member of the Board of Directors of the AFL-CIO Union Lawyers Alliance and of the Ethics Committee of the New York City Bar Association. A published thought leader, she has written on the ethics of technological competence for lawyers and surveillance technologies in employment and frequently speaks at panels addressing these challenges.

Prior to joining Gladstein, Reif & Meginniss in 2008, she served as Associate Counsel for a large public sector union, representing members across New York State, and prior to that, she began her legal career practicing labor and employment law at a leading union-side, plaintiff -side boutique law firm.
